Johnsen's R-134A Quick Charge Kit Plastic

  • Designed for easy recharging of R-134a A/C systems using 12oz. cans.
  • Contains a dispending valve. Hose and low side quick coupler.
  • Plastic

Direction for use :

  • Turn the valve handle of the charging kit counterclockwise until the piercing stem is in the up position.
  • This will prevent piercing the R-134a can.
  • Screw the low side service port on the A/C system.
  • Locate the low side service port on the A/C system.
  • Remove the cap from the low side service port.
  • Attach quick connect fitting to the service port by pulling the connector ring back as you push it onto the service port.
  • Make sure the fitting is tight.
  • Start the engine and set A/C system control to max A/C.
  • Turn the valve handles counterclockwise until you can hear the refrigerant leaving the can.
  • While charging, rotate the can between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock every 2 to 3 seconds while continuously agitating (shaking) the can back and forth.
  • Continue this process until the can is empty(5 to 15 minutes) or until the correct amount of refrigerant is charged into the A/C system.
  • When the can feels empty, hold it upside down for one minute to remove all refrigerants.
  • Charge the R-134a A/C system per OEM specifications.
  • Remove quick connect fitting by pulling back on the connector ring and then pulling it off the service port.
  • Remove the can from the charging kit and discard it.

Note :

Always store the charging kit with the piercing valve in the up position. This prevents piercing or the next can.

Caution :

Always use protective eyewear. Read labels on the refrigerant can before using this product.
